Montpeyroux is a small wine-growing village which territory is part of a larger tourist circuit which includes Saint Guilhem le Désert and the remarkable Clamouse's Cave.


As such, it benefits from the influence of this medieval village classified among "The Most Beautiful Villages of France" and considered an essential stopover for pilgrims on the Way to Saint James.


It is also located on the passage of another natural site of great importance: the Cirque de Navacelles.
